Dear Sir,

APPLICATION FOR THE POSITION OF A SCHOOL LEAVER TRAINEE

I humbly write to apply for the position of a School Leaver Trainee in your reputable company, as advertised in The Guardian Newspaper of 15th September, 2025.

I am a recent graduate of Great Heights Secondary School, Shomolu, where I obtained my West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE) with good grades in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and other relevant subjects. I am eager to begin my career by gaining practical training and hands-on experience, and I believe your organization provides the perfect environment for young people like me to develop skills and grow into competent professionals.

Sir, your company’s reputation for excellence, discipline, and innovation has inspired me to seek this opportunity. I am particularly drawn to the fact that Bright Future Manufacturing Company is known for producing quality household goods and for investing in human capital development. It would therefore be a privilege for me to learn under the guidance of seasoned experts in your establishment.

I possess qualities that I believe will make me a valuable trainee. I am hardworking, punctual, and willing to learn. My teachers and peers often describe me as disciplined, reliable, and a good team player. I also have basic computer skills, which I believe will be useful in supporting administrative and operational tasks during my training.

Although I have no formal work experience yet, I have actively participated in several school projects and community volunteer activities that required planning, teamwork, and leadership. For example, I served as the Assistant Secretary of our school’s Press Club, where I gained useful communication and organizational skills. These experiences, though informal, have prepared me to adapt quickly to new responsibilities.

I am confident that with proper training, I can develop the skills necessary to contribute meaningfully to your company. I am willing to start at the entry level, undergo orientation, and comply fully with all the rules and regulations of the organization.

Enclosed with this letter are copies of my WASSCE certificate, testimonial, and two passport-sized photographs. I would be grateful if I could be given the opportunity for an interview at your convenience.

Thank you for your kind consideration.

Yours faithfully,
