The Morning of My Last Examination

The morning of my last examination is one I can never forget. It was the day that marked the end of months of preparation, sleepless nights, and countless revisions. The thought of finally completing my examinations filled me with both excitement and nervousness.

I woke up earlier than usual that day. The sky was still grey, and the air was cool and refreshing. As I stretched on my bed, I reminded myself that it was the last hurdle I had to cross. I said a short prayer, thanking God for bringing me this far, and asking for a clear memory and calm nerves.

After my morning routine, I sat at my study table for one final revision. My books were already well arranged, and I went through my notes with more focus. Though my heart beat fast, I tried to reassure myself that I had worked hard and that all would be well. My mother entered the room and encouraged me with a smile, saying, “Just do your best, and success will follow.” Her words gave me courage.

By 7:30 a.m., I was dressed in my neat school uniform and ready to leave. My father offered to drop me at school. The ride was quiet, but my mind was busy going over formulas and key points. As we approached the school gate, I noticed groups of students standing in corners, holding books and testing each other. Some looked confident, while others were clearly anxious.

The atmosphere in the school compound was tense but lively. I joined a few of my classmates, and together we revised some difficult topics. Laughter occasionally broke the tension as someone made a joke about forgetting everything once the paper began. Despite the anxiety, there was also a shared sense of relief that it was the last exam.

When the bell rang, signaling that it was time to enter the hall, my heart skipped. We walked in quietly, each student settling into their seats. I looked around the hall and noticed the seriousness on everyone’s face. The invigilator walked in, carrying the sealed question papers. The rustle of papers, the scratching of pens, and the ticking of the wall clock soon filled the silent hall.

Though I was nervous at first, I quickly gained confidence as I began to answer the questions. In that moment, I felt grateful for all the effort I had put into my studies. I reminded myself that this was the final step in a long journey.

In conclusion, the morning of my last examination was filled with a mixture of fear, excitement, and hope. It reminded me that challenges may be tough, but with preparation and determination, they can be conquered.
